near Park Hill,
Oklahoma just south
from
Tahlequah,
Cherokee Landing
State Park is right
on
Lake Tenkiller.
The
park is a water
lovers paradise,
both Lake Tenkiller
and the
Illinois River
have opportunities
to have fun, and
whether it's a slow
canoe down the river
or a fast ski boat
on the lake Cherokee
Landing is a great
base for everything
wet.
We
enjoyed the park, RV
sites were level,
nicely spaced, and a
swim beach and dock
were nearby. The
park is well
patrolled so you
feel safe, just be
sure and watch your
speed as posted
throughout the park.
